Concealed Flood Barrier

Designed for sites requiring automatic flood protection, FloodFree Concealed Flood Barriers are passive, self-actuating systems that deploy using buoyancy as floodwaters rise. Installed vertically, below ground level, the barrier remains concealed until required, delivering reliable, unobtrusive protection.

Permanently installed below ground level at the isolation point, these barriers remain hidden during normal conditions, preserving access, aesthetics and functionality. As floodwaters rise, the system activates via flotation, elevating the barrier vertically to isolate water ingress.

Once flood levels recede, the barrier automatically retracts to ground level, restoring full access without the need for operator intervention. This makes it ideally suited to locations where response time, safety, or access constraints limit the effectiveness of manual systems.

The Concealed Flood Barrier will self-deploy and retract, as required, even as you sleep, with no need for manual intervention.
