DEMOUNTABLE BULKHEAD FLOOD BARRIER

Demountable Bulkhead Flood Barriers (DBFB) provide partial or full perimeter sealing. Ideal flood protection for access points, lift wells and doorways.

Demountable Bulkhead Flood Barriers are usually designed as a single-piece barrier, providing partial or full perimeter sealing around road or rail access points, lift wells and door frames.

Barriers are often stored in close proximity to the area of installation for fast and effective deployment prior to a flood event.

DESIGN SUPPORT

R&D and Engineering teams are available under Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), to assist in developing flood barrier solutions for bespoke green-field and brown-field sites.

All Flood Barriers are custom sized to ensure they meet specific site requirements.

MOUNTING OPTIONS

Barriers are designed to retrofit existing infrastructure or ‘green field sites’, they are also suitable for ‘brown field sites’.

The bulkhead may be installed on an overhead linear rail system for ease of installation (no difficult maneuvering required). To deploy such system, the barrier is disengaged from the storage rack and slid along the track, the floor sill rebate cover is removed then the barrier is positioned against the opening and bolted into place for flood protection.
